MermaidsRReal21 Posted February 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2016 Hey everyone! Going on a Western Caribbean cruise this march! I wanted some recommendations on third party excursions in Belize, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Mahogany bay. Any idea??
Rare crewsweeper Posted February 25, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2016 What do you want to do? Belize: cave-tubing, zip lining, Maya ruins, snorkel/beach break at local caye? Cozumel: Mostly a beach port. No need for a private excursion to those. Costa Maya: again a big beach port. lots of beach clubs, no need for a private excursion except for Maya ruins--Native Choice. Mahogany Bay: for an island tour, beach, zip lining there's Victor Bodden and Rony's Tours and a couple of others. West Bay beach? there are passes to some resorts. Just any old beach, right there at MBCC, free short walk from pier. All these ports have lots of reviews on private vendors, so do a search or scroll through a couple of pages of recent posts. BrotherCraig Posted February 25, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2016 For Roatan, check out Bodden Tours. You can take one of their organized tours or you can do the private driver for the day thing and hit up the beautiful West Bay Beach, shop-drink-eat over at West End Village (snorkel at either place - fantastic), go see the monkeys, and/or zipline. For Belize, people like the cave tuning a lot. We usually head over to Caye Caulker to hang out for a bit. Just depends on what you are looking for.
