Boarding in Valencia

Has anyone experience of boarding in Valencia. Just booked Valencia to Santos in November and wondering about the boarding experience in Valencia.

It's not a main boarding port so it won't be very busy. Most board at an earlier port (usually Genoa or Venice). On one of my TAs, a Spanish couple got on at Valencia whilst we'd boarded in Genoa. They seemed to find it easy enough. I've only ever been in Valencia as a normal port day though myself.
