anyone been recently and can they tell me:

 

Have the Bed been upgraded with the refurb last year?

 

please please please say yes - on our last two cruises, the beds, or should i say lack of descent mattress below you has just about ruin it for us

Cannot say for all cabins but we were on Pearl last month. Deck 11 mini suite and the bed was amazing. Sooooooooo good. So much better than previous cruise on Pearly. Pretty sure all cabins were refurbished but not 100%.

we are just in a standard inside cabin, so everything crossed all rooms have new beds.

we have been all over the shop, inside and outside cabins, i have to say previously all the beds/mattresses have been crap.

We found the bed hard but got a topper pad and it made it much better. No roll together, and we slept very well. I travel a lot and I would say this was an average bed - not top of the line comfy but not prison cell hard either

do you take the topper pad with you, or did you ask for one on the ship?

They had one onboard, i just left a note for the steward and he put it on at evening turn down.
