Finally got a call from the upsell fairy...but...

Got an offer to go from a 4k interior with the French doors on the Miracle to an ocean view on Riviera deck for $75. Was excited as I've never had the fairy contact me before in over 15 years of cruising.

 

Did some research on the rooms and IMHO, my original room is much better. Darn it...pass...

Those 4K rooms are fantastic!!! I wouldn't have given it up either. Even if you don't have one of the rooms that you can peek through the lifeboats to see a little ocean, there is so much light coming into the room through those French doors and you can open them for fresh air. The room is as large as the balcony rooms, you'll have a sofa and coffee table, but you won't have to pay balcony prices.

Yes, I think I made the right choice. I was hoping that they would try to up sale to a balcony or suite, but they said those have all been sold out.
