Are other people seeing porn on the Carnival Timeline?

NEED HELP! been trying to report porn showing up on the carnival cruise line timeline in the preview pictures. Can't find a link to the administrator. Very upset when I opened the CC App this morning.

No ads, the pictures are on the preview window of the time line. When I click on the link to view the thread the pictures are not there.

If you go into the App Store and look up the app, you can find the contact email under support.

 

I emailed them already and received this reply:

 

"If it is not too much trouble, is there any way that you might have a moment to delete the app and reinstall it? This should remove the images from your app/phone

 

A bit of background:

The images were posted on our forums and a host did remove them quite quickly. Unfortunately with the way the app communicates between the site and image servers, the images were still viewable on the app for quite some time. We did shut the app down yesterday while we tried to sync up and have the images taken from the app as well. Most people are no longer seeing those horrible images but we do have a small handful of members who are seeing them still. It may have something to do with the way your phone and the app cache the data. Our developers have suggested that deleting and reinstalling the app for those members would be the quickest way to get the images off of their apps.

 

I do apologize for any inconvenience my request causes."

 

It worked for me. Uninstall the app, reboot your phone, then reinstall.

The developers area aware of it. I emailed also and got the same response however, deleting and reinstalling did not fix the issue for me. I replied back and they said they would keep working on it.

Just deleted, powered off and back on, and reinstalled. Still there under the post by lyndamar.

What I don't understand is why CC is not addressing this issue on the forum. I have not seen anything from the administration about this other then an email that was sent to bakerdozen12. I'm very upset with what seems to be a total lack of concern on CC part to inform us of what is going on.

Actually LauraS commented on another thread that this was fixed. You have to use the CC forum app, not the tapatalk. The CC app seems to be working for me...for the moment at least. Hopefully it stays that way.

I opened the app up on my work phone, at my pediatrician's office, sitting next to my 12 year old. And in scrolling through the feed, was greeted by a video of someone licking a ***** with ### coming out of it. It's hard to describe how many things are wrong with that situation.

 

(and yes...perhaps I shouldn't HAVE the app on my work phone...and believe me...I don't anymore!!!!)
