janiss815 Posted March 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2016 We were "upgraded" to a guarantee mini-suite when prices went down after final payment. We are 46 days til the cruise and still haven't received cabin assignment. I think the terms say that NCL may assign our cabin at check-in but I know they usually assign cabins well in advance. Does anyone know when they "typically" assign cabins for guarantees? Do they do these all at once or can be one by one? Also, what we paid for our original cabin (balcony) was more than the current price for the mini-suite - would NCL consider what we paid when assigning us a cabin (ie, would they give us a better cabin since we paid more)? And no, what you paid has no effect on the assignment - only thing that matters is the booked category (in this case after the upgrade).
