Vibe passes

Can someone explain what the Vibe passes everyone is talking about? What do they do? How do you get it? Is there a cost?

On ships with a Vibe Beach Club (Breakaway, Getaway, and Escape...Epic has one that is called Posh), you can buy a pass that grants you admission for the week. Cost is $99pp.

The Vibe Beach Club is adult only, has upgraded loungers, and a bar. The number of passes sold is limited so that everyone is guaranteed a lounger.

Passes are available at Guest Services or in Headliners (depending on the ship) on embarkation day.

Adult only area, padded loungers, umbrellas for shade that staff will move around for you. Has it's own bar and you can order food there (fee). On our Breakaway cruise it was $79 per person.

They also have cabanas for rental. $299 for week for two people but you get a $100 credit to your account (the say it's food/drink credit but we didn't use it for that and we just got a credit at the end). Includes admission to Vibe for two and cabana.

There are two hot tubs and a shower and it has it's own restroom.

They bring around fruit skewers and cold hand towels a few times a day.

If you want the passes with or without cabana go to guest services as soon as you board, they can sell out fast.

Vibe sells out quickly. We were at the port at 8:15AM and were the second couple through the check-in process for a group 1 pass in Terminal B. (The first couple arrived at 7:15AM.) When group 1 was called, everyone that wanted a pass moved to the front of the line. It was a very fast embarkation, not quite running, but close. Terminal C lets their group 2 passes go at the same time and all those that want the Vibe are on a mission. We got to Headliners and they gave out ticket numbers to each person that wanted a pass. We were 42 and 44 out of 75. Within 5 minutes, all numbers were gone.

The first cruisers that have access to passes are the early, priority boarders like those staying in the Haven. We're Platinum and there are no early boarding privileges for status.

Good luck if you go for it. It was the highlight of our trip never having to look for a lounge chair and the service was excellent.

From ncl website:

Vibe Beach Club

Guests will jump for joy upon discovering this private retreat where they can connect with the ocean – and disconnect from everything else. Exclusively for those 18 and over, Vibe Beach Club is resplendent with ocean views, an over-sized hot tub, chaise loungers and a relaxing water feature - idea for relaxation. A full-service bar, water spritzers, chilled towels and skewers of fruit ease you even more into serenity. A limited number of passes will be available for purchase onboard at the Guest Service Desk.

Guest services. We were in boarding group 6 and still managed to get three of the Vibe passes. I highly recommend them.
