Is the dress code slightly different on Escape than other NCL ships?

I guess I didn't get the whole, "They are going to have to fine or penalize me" or whatever. Shorts are allowed. It appears you've missed that part. There is no one to fine you, penalize you, or even give a ****.

Dude, you apparently didn't get my sarcasm. :)

Reminds me of the Churchill quote where a woman told him:

“If I Were Your Wife I’d Put Poison in Your Tea!”

And he responded: “If I Were Your Husband I’d Drink It!”

Why all the hostility on this topic?

I will only bring one pair of khaki's as an insurance policy then - just in case - as it appears shorts are fine almost everywhere and any time. I'm for following the rules but I also don't give a rats butt if someone thinks more of me for wearing pants versus shorts.

I used to work for a CEO that would come into work wearing jeans and a polo shirt and respected him 1,000x over some of these suit wearing goofballs. :D
