Cabins by the elevators

My cabins are located by the elevators, is that a good or a bad thing, noise wise?

We usually take a cabin by the elevators and have never had a noise problem. Occasionally some loud talk, but that's all.

We also had cabins by elevator's and I am a light sleeper but the noise was not an issue. Saying that we do have 2 smallies so were always awake at silly o clock!!!

Absolutely!

 

I've never heard noise from the elevators themselves. Depends on which elevators you're near, you can get a lot more footfall past your door and if they're a noisy bunch, you may hear noise. Elevator banks towards either end tend to have slightly less footfall from them than the popular central ones.
