roomiec Posted March 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2016 We were just offered an upgrade to a PH(for an additional charge)which we were going to accept. After asking our TA to check what cabin number it would be, we found out it had an obstructed view. Is anyone familiar with what the obstruction might be, and how bad it is? Rare LHT28 Posted March 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2016 could be a solid panel railing rather than the bar type Cannot think of any OV PH cabins otherwise
Cruseforme Posted March 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2016 (edited) Also, found this OLD discussion on PH 8065 for the Insignia (same layout)... Not sure if this is the PH they were offered. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1152538 Edited March 15, 2016 by Cruseforme
kuldalai Posted March 16, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2016 Get yor TA to find out from Oceania the exact nature of the obstruction . It is often a railing or machinery, a lifeboat bow etc. In any case they are priced lower than same cabin class with an un obstructed view . PH are good space anyway, and you do not spend much day time in your cabin anyway that you are not resting .
