Dining Packages

If you buy the dining package for 3 nights in a Specialty Restaurant do you have a choice on which 3 you dine in? If not, has anyone ever been able to change a restaurant if it's one you don't want.

The restaurant that a guest must dine in on the first evening of the cruise is pre-selected by Celebrity, however the guest can choose the time during which they would like to dine. All other dining times for the package beyond the first night will be made once onboard. Guests can speak to the Hostess at the Specialty Restaurant desk that is set up during the Embarkation process, or they can speak to the Maitre' d after completion of their 1st dinner. All dates/times are based on availability.

You must eat in the restaurants specified by the package you buy. You can't for instance eat three times in Murano when the package states one Murano, one Qsine, one Tuscan Grille...as an example. You might find that it comes to the same price to just book your specialties onboard at the restaurants that you prefer by asking for individual discounts. Doesn't always work (may not be discounts if bookings are high) but that way you'd at least get to eat where you want :D

Unless Celebrity's policy has change, the requirement was to book the first restaurant on either the 1st or 2nd night of the cruise, but the restaurant is selected by Celebrity based on one of the restaurants in that package. I've had luck finding out which restaurant it will be by calling and booking through the Celebrity Enhancement Dept. I think you also get a better selection (1st or 2nd night and specific times if you book way in advance of your cruise).

You can look up the specific restaurants included in each package on a particular ship on the Celebrity website. I've never heard that anyone has been able to deviate from the restaurants included in those packages.
