Have we lost the preview feature

I used to be able to put my cursor over the thread topic, and I could read the first sentence. I really liked that feature....it saved me a lot of time both searching for threads and avoiding some that didn't interest me. I find I can't do that now....am I the only one, or did we lose it in the transition?

There apparently have been some weird things happening the last few days. I see that someone is asking what happened to bepsf's thread as it suddenly disappeared as he was reading it. Yesterday a friend tried to log in and was told she was "banned" - reason "NONE". She couldn't even read any of the posts. I don't think they have all the bugs ironed out yet. :)

Thanks for the replies....that's what I feared.:( I have tried changing all my personal display options, but nothing seems to help. Oh well, sometimes you get the bear, and sometimes the bear gets you!
