My kids were very little last time we went there. This time they are old enough to enjoy snorkeling. Does anyone know if there is good snorkeling at this beach? I know money bar is recommended...but we had such a great time at paradise beach that I would prefer going here.

The short answer is NO :(

No beach with a nice sandy bottom and any wave action will offer good snorkeling -- the sand/waves cloud the water and there are no rock/reefs for the little fish to thrive in. Pay and extra $30-35+ per person for the 90 minute snorkel excursion to the reefs or head to a place like the Money Bar (no beach, you enter the water via steps) with great snorkeling from the shore.

You might consider stopping at the Money Bar for an hour or two of snorkel time and then cab to PB for the rest of the day.
