Seattle LRV to Kimg street Amtrak

Arriving to seatac and looking to take LRV to get to King street station to take train to Vancouver for alaska cruise.

 

Is this possible and station to get off at and instructions to get to the train would be helpful

If you mean the Light Rail, be aware that there is walking at both ends, so you need to be able to easily manage your luggage . Depending on which baggage carousel you use, the walk can be up to 10 minutes from the airport to the Light Rail station. Basically you're walking thru the SeaTac parking garage, so it's flat, and covered, but it's a walk. You would disembark at the International District (5th and Jackson) and walk about 2 blocks to the Amtrak station. The rail trip will itself be about 30 minutes.

Also note there are only two trains per day from Seattle to Vancouver, early morning and early evening. You can store your bags at King Street if you have time to explore the city.

If you are not attached to the train experience.... consider Quick Shuttle. For $50 you go from the Seattle's airport to Vancouver downtown and possibly the cruise terminal. 6 to 7 daily one way departures to meet your schedule.

The above is a google map directions between where you get off the light rail at International District Station to walk to King Street station. Please note: there is an entrance to King Street Station on the street level off of S Jackson St. so you don't have to walk all the way to S. King st.

 

I an advocate of the train, because you have a great view, a café car, and wifi. Plus you don't have to wait at the border crossing like shuttles do.
