Help with second hotel choice!

So I just posted this on the Florida Departures board, but I'm hoping to get quicker answers here.

 

We have a reservation through LMT Club at the newly opening Homewood Suites on Brickell for April 8th. Opening has been delayed a few times.

 

We just received an email from LMT Club stated we would be moved to the Fairfield Inn And Suites at the airport...ugh, no. For one thing, it's only $100/night and we paid more than that for the Homewood Suites, plus it included hotel buffet breakfast. Two, we booked when the exchange rate was better. Ugh.

 

So, I went on LMT Club to see what was available. JW Marriott for $174 and the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay for $154. Which one would you choose?

Hampton Inn and Suites on Brickell is also nice.

I'd pay the extra $20 per night a stay at the JW Marriott. Still lots to walk to in the area. Marriott Biscayne Bay is nice but a little isolated for walking....

I just called and cancelled our Homewood Suites reservation and booked the JW Marriott.

 

I'm kinda bummed as I was really looking forward to staying at the new Suites, but I was getting the runaround on opening date(s) and when I got that relocation email, I was out.

 

I'm a planner by nature and this wasn't sitting well with me. Better to just cancel and rebook a for-sure hotel with great reviews and location.
