Do hotels also advertise their rooms on AirBnb?

 

I'm seeing an AirBnB that seems to be one of the higher rated hotels in San Juan, but for a significantly lower rate. Am I missing something?

The hotel that I work at is like this: Some high-end hotels have units that people can buy. Then, they have the option of putting them in the hotel's room pool or keeping them "private." If kept private, the owners can keep it all to themselves or rent it out. You might be seeing this. If it is a private rental, you may or may not be entitled to all the hotel amenities offered to "real" hotel guests (housekeeping may be an extra cost). May we know the hotel?
