Arctic Cruising

While the upcoming Arctic cruise this summer is not a Celebrity ship, it may mark the advent Arctic cruising to other major cruise lines.

 

With that said, as the cruise is passing through the Canadian North, there has been attention and discussions surrounding the ethics and safety of these cruises. Our national radio station CBC, had a radio piece regarding Arctic cruising. It was an interesting piece that discussed may aspects regarding the upcoming Crystal Serentity cruise as well as the threats that Arctic cruising poses to such a delicate ecosystem.
