SqueakyDust Posted October 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2005 Our ship offers Whale Watching tours on Dominica, St Lucia & Grenada. I've tried to book independently but can't find anyone who does. Hubby & I have been to each island already, but the kids haven't. We've done the waterfalls etc on Dominica and don't particularly think the kids would miss not doing this. So, if we don't do the WW tour on Dominica, what else could we do with the kids? Or do you think this would be the best island do to the tour from? Thanks for your patience and help!
SqueakyDust Posted October 17, 2005 Author #2 Share Posted October 17, 2005 Thanks Dominicalover. I'm sure I contacted both of those groups earlier in the year and found neither could accommodate us, but I've contacted them again incase things have changed. Also checking out the latter site for other info. Kids aren't good enough swimmers for the tubing and my son and I are a bit scared of heights  Doesn't mean we'll discount thoseideas though. :)

OkieCruisers Posted October 23, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2005 We were in Dominica two weeks ago on our cruise and we ended up just hiring a guide for a land tour that day but I did some research on a whale watching tour before we went and check out this site. http://whaledive.org/ They quoted me a price of $50 per person for a 5 to 6 hour Whale and Dolphin watching tour that included snacks and drinks. If I ever get back there again I will sure try them, it sounds like a great way to spend the day with the little ones. Have fun what ever you do and post on here afterwards to let us know. SqueakyDust Posted October 23, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted October 23, 2005 Thanks OkieCruisers, but it looks like we've managed to get a tour via Anchorage Whale Watch & Dive Center. Great to have back up info though.
