Riverside Hotel: cabs to Port Everglades

Are there usually cabs waiting outside the Riverside Hotel. Average cost to Port Everglades?

I would confirm with the hotel when checking in on the ease of getting a cab. They can make a reservation for you if necessary. Given that you may run into a slowdown at Port Everglades security I would budget between $15 and $20.

The bar in the back (Ryan the bartender) is one of my local hangouts and I use the back of the hotel (which is actually the front) always has cabs there.

 

If there isn't a cab, the concierge will hail you one within seconds.
