Riverside Hotel: cabs to Port Everglades

I would confirm with the hotel when checking in on the ease of getting a cab. They can make a reservation for you if necessary. According to the taxi fare finder (http://www.taxifarefinder.com/main.php?city=Fort-Lauderdale-FL&from=Riverside+Hotel%2C+East+Las+Olas+Boulevard%2C+Fort+Lauderdale%2C+FL%2C+United+States&to=Port+Everglades%2C+Hollywood%2C+FL%2C+United+States&fromCoord=26.1186222,-80.13638349999997&toCoord=26.0937112,-80.1246643), the fare plus tip should be around $14. Given that you may run into a slowdown at Port Everglades security I would budget between $15 and $20.

The bar in the back (Ryan the bartender) is one of my local hangouts and I use the back of the hotel (which is actually the front) always has cabs there.

If there isn't a cab, the concierge will hail you one within seconds.
