cunard care insurance

My understanding is that insurance policy terms differ depending on when and where the policy is purchased. You might wish to make your question more specific?

Edited to add: Here is something on the subject found on the US Cunard website that applies to UK passengers (but not to North American passengers): https://ask.cunard.com/help/before-you-sail/insurance

(US passenger)

I looked into Cunard Care but the coverage is lacking compared to what you can find on InsureMyTrip. I don't know if it's policy or the way the Onboard Sales Team wrote it up, but in my case payment for the insurance wouldn't have been taken until cruise final payment and there's no preexisting conditions waiver. Coverage is only in effect after it's paid for so that's more exposure to potential future issues than I'd choose without some sort of preexisting condition coverage.

I will say the price is pretty good, although the evacuation limit is a bit low.

I would definitely explore all options before you commit. It also depends on where you live.

I compared Cunard to some others and found Cunard was expensive for what they offered.
