Uber?

Has anyone taken Uber from a spot in Broward to the Miami port? Basically I live in southern Broward county and I don't want to park my car at the port and I have no other way to get there. Also how about calling for an Uber for the ride home?

My godson drives for Uber and makes this run all the time.

 

He always is able to work his way back north.

I also have an Uber question. I've never used Uber but will be in Miami staying at the Urbano. We are a total of 7 ladies. Obviously we will need 2 cars for transport. Uber has a $20 credit for first time users. Per their website its a $17 fare so can you say free :)

 

With luggage I'm thinking we will need the SUVs?

Do you think it will be easy to get 2 cars at the same time to pick us up?

 

I hate to spend the money for 2 taxi's or private shuttle for such a short ride.

 

Is this doable?
