cruise saint Posted April 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2016 (edited) We are going on our first cruise from Southampton on 3rd September on Britannia. We have free parking as part of the cruise package. As a first time cruiser I'd like to know how this works - is it like airport parking where you park the car in a big car park and get a bus to the terminal, or does it work completely differently. Sorry if it's a stupid question, but we've never cruised before. Edited April 13, 2016 by cruise saint
Enforcer Posted April 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2016 Hi, It is a couple of years ago since we sailed with P&O from Southampton so things may have changed but I doubt it won't be much different. You drive up to the terminal, they take your luggage from you, you give them the keys and enjoy your holiday. On your return you go to a nearby cabin, get your keys, your car will be parked nearby and you can then pick up your fellow travellers and luggage. Whichever way it is done it is very painless.
