We are booked on Ruby Princess on Riviera deck. A balcony near the pool Jlust saw a Lido balcony become available. DH always goes early for coffee on the Lido. Too noisey? Too crowded??? Riviera is a great aft location ??. Comments appreciated.

Blessings,

Gail

LOVE being way forward on the Lido deck!!! SO convenient to the pools, the burger grill, the pizza place, the soft serve ice cream (the chocolate is luscious!), and it's a nice walk thru the Lido deck to get to the Horizon Court for morning coffee ..... or just walk halfway thru and take the midship stairs or elevator down to the Piazza level to the International Café for fresh brewed coffee and maybe even a freshly made, still warm donut in the morning!!!

We just came off an aft Riviera on the CB (porthole cabin). Right next to an outside door, up a short flight and you're in Cafe Caribe. Nothing closer than that! Being right there and having breakfast on the aft (horizon terrace) is one of our favorite ways to start the day. Lido's are going to be forward on the ship. Some say it's best to be forward of the elevators but you're really not going to hear much from inside your room. A little more of a walk to the Horizon Court for that morning cup. Easy up one flight to the spa. No laundromat on the Lido though if that's important to ya. Lido does also have that "sometimes open" access to the flybridge up front! That's the best view coming into a port in our opinion. Depends where you want to be, both have their advantages. :D

Our choice of rooms is always in that area! We call the adult pool area our 'back porch.' We can sneak up to the buffet area and get some cheese and crackers or a couple cookies in the evening before heading to bed. A bar is close by as well. And of course, coffee is just in the buffet as well. If steps are a problem, the elevators are close by and you will be placed right at the entrance to the buffet! Nothing could be finer!
