Is there hi speed wi-fi on the royal?

Hi, I am currently on the Celebrity Silhouette that just introduced there hi - speed wi-fi called XCellerate, currently booked on the Royal in November and was wondering if Princess has upgraded their wi-fi. Thanks for any replies Leslie

Was on the Royal for 20 days ending last week....wifi was excellent. Don't know the speed but had no issues sending or receiving photos.

We have done 47 days on the Royal since October which included 20 days ending last week. The wi-fi has gotten faster over the winter but still not really good. Skype worked just fine.

I wouldn't call it high speed. But better than in the past.

Currently on the Royal and I feel the Internet is working very well throughout the ship. There was a short system outage a few days ago but we survived! :D

We have an Inside cabin and have not had any problem - don't even need to open the cabin door or stand near it! The Internet feels faster on our cruise! YMMV

They increased the speed around the first of the year. Although it's no where near a cable connection it's OK for being on a ship.
