Quite agree, little or no choice and quite rushed. Buffet next time for us!

I guess it's different strokes for different folks. Our last experience with the luncheon was on Eclipse. We were travelling with another couple. Our carry on luggage was taken and stored in a separate area.We were seated at a lovely table for 4 by the window at 11:30 AM when the MDR luncheon first opened. We didn't miss having to hunt for a table in the crowded buffet or the small Aqua Spa Café or Mast Grill while dragging around our carry-on bags. We all found something we liked, were served in a leisurely manner, had wine with our lunch and lingered over coffee and dessert until our rooms were ready. No one did anything other than pamper us. We certainly were never rushed in any way. I thoroughly enjoyed that way of starting a cruise vacation and found it much more relaxing. I guess that's why they make chocolate, vanilla and strawberry! Our next cruise is in Aqua Class and although I'm looking forward to Blu, I have to admit that I'll miss that luncheon. We found it totally enjoyable.

This just what we're looking forward to when boarding our upcoming cruise :)
