PompeySailor Posted April 24, 2016 #26 Share Posted April 24, 2016 Haha, I'm a semi-regular over there.Do you play Texas Hold'em on RCCL cruises? I dabbled 5/6 years ago, the Hold'em is the DW's favorite, she plays the $100 buy ins. And actually does pretty well:) On our last cruise Hold'em was very popular and they actually gave away 2 free cruises as there were so many players. PompeySailor Posted April 24, 2016 #27 Share Posted April 24, 2016 Here's another vp hit I had. Looks the same but different Very nice:) Best odds in any casino as you actually make a desicion on outcome. I have posted some slot winnings on the casino forum, not going to duplicate them on here, but let's just say have many W2g,s to give to the IRS next filing:( That's one rule I do not like now when winning over $1199, they tax you 30% of your winnings:eek:

pilotboy1985 Posted April 24, 2016 #32 Share Posted April 24, 2016 BlackjackYou need to be betting minimum $50 per box to even be rated for CR VIP invitation. Typically also calculated on 4-5hrs of table play per day If you are at that level of bankroll, ask Casino manager to monitor your play Slots 1 point = $5.00 spend Happy Days! Holy cow! I have to bet $50 a hand at blackjack to get points? that's too rich for my blood. sounds like the slot machines are the way to get the points. My mom plays the slots but usually only gets enough points for a t-shirt or something. does anyone have a picture of the points required and what you get for each level? sellwingri Posted April 24, 2016 #33 Share Posted April 24, 2016 I just got off Serenade OTS on Monday and received a free cruise certificate. The list of available cruises on my certificate is somewhat limited; 3 to 5 day cruises in an ocean view cabin but was told that I could pay to upgrade to a balcony or suite. I also have the option to use it as a $750 credit on a future cruise but must be by Sept 1st. Certificate must be redeemed in 30 days. I played 3 card poker exclusively and usually played he minimum of $15 to $20 per hand. I did play at every opportunity over a 10 day cruise. There are no pictures on the levels of bankroll $$$$$. Your asking about points, are you asking about the redemption of points, example : points needed for a T-Shirt, keychain, arcade $, etc.? I do know for every 1000 slot points you earn, you can redeem those points for $20 in cold hard cash. So 500 slot points would earn you $10. Or are you asking, how many slot points you need to earn a free Inside, Oceanview or Balcony stateroom certificate? I may be able to get that info for you. As Graham indicated $5=1 slot point, do the math as to what you have to spend in order to get a free cruise certificate, which we all know they're not free. cruisejess Posted April 24, 2016 #35 Share Posted April 24, 2016 On our March Grandeur cruise double slot points did not count towards cruise certificates. It made the program difficult to calculate. I wish that they hadn't offered double points because I never knew how many "real" points I had and even the host had a hard time telling me. The new system is frustrating and confusing. The new system is frustrating and confusing. The double points (normally from 09:00-11:00) are for the trinkets, key chains, hats, t-shirts etc. Just as Linda has already stated Try not to confuse the points you see displayed on the machines when your card is inserted with points required to get a free cruise. These are two completely different entities. So if at the end of your cruise you put card in machine and it says you have 2400 points, those are Mickey Mouse points. These do NOT constitute a free cruise. Go to casino cage and redeem for small cash prizes, key chains and little gifts. They are only redeemable on that particular sailing As Linda clarifies, 1 point =$5, so to get 2400 REAL POINTS, again do the math to see what you need to be spending to get a FCC. Happy Days! Linda, I like the New signature:)

cruisejess Posted April 24, 2016 #38 Share Posted April 24, 2016 I understand what the free double points are for, but the casino hosts had a difficult time telling me how many real points I had. I am a member of Club Royal and know how much cash I had to spend to be invited. On our cruise the promotion was run in the morning, late at night and at all times on certain machines. Oh ok Thought you were a newbie as you asked me yesterday for the links to all the Casino threads:D Totally at a loss then as to why they would not know how much you had spent, because double points has nothing to do with REAL POINTS. They should have a very accurate figure daily of your true spend Happy Days!
