Directions for Marseille to AIX by bus?

Hello,

 

Can anyone offer any directions on how to take the bus from the cruise port in Marseille to Aix en Provence? My husband are interested in spending the day there.

Basically you just go to the Bus/ Train station as they are next to each other and purchase a ticket to Aix. Both trains and buses run regular timed routes so it often works to see which is the next to leave. Getting to the station depends on which dock and ship you arrive on. Sometimes there is a shuttle running into town but not always so you also may want to consider a taxi especially if you can share with a couple of couples

My family of 4 is looking to do this as well. Are the taxi's readily available when we get off the ship/ We are arriving on the NCL Epic on Saturday, July 9th.

Hi for 4 people the taxi cost 60€ one way is better because if you go to the train station is far you don't have a bus directly to the train station and the train cost 5€ per person
