Enforcer Posted May 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2016 Hi All, Just thought that I would post about my recent experience using my GoGo Traveller in Le Harve and Cherbourg. There are plenty of drop curbs at both towns although some of the pavements were cobbled and very bumpy. I was able to find toilets quite easily. Returning to the ship in Cherbourg as it is only a short distance to the town centre, you needed to look a good distance ahead as one side of the road was rough ground unsuitable for a scooter but ok the other side. We used a taxi from and back to the ship in Le Harve, plenty about, drivers very helpful and willing to put the scooter in their vehicle, although we did use a Transit van out and a Renault (box car style) back. LondonTowner Posted May 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 2, 2016 Yes, in general I find France fairly disabled friendly. For anyone wanting to visit the DDay beaches, all the museums are accessible.
