Arrange transfer or taxi from airport to hotel?

We have a group of 10 flying into San Juan the day before our cruise in early June. Does any one know how much it costs to take a taxi to Old San Juan where our hotel is located? I'm wondering if it might be easier to arrange a transfer with a private company. Just wanted to compare the costs.

If you don't mind breaking up into a couple of taxis, just join the taxi rank outside of baggage claim. It moves relatively fast; I got there a couple of weeks ago when several flights arrived with hundreds of cruise tourists (I wasn't cruising this time). Maybe 5 minutes waiting in the rank before I had a cab (actually a van). It cost me $23 (fixed cost: destination +# of bags) to the Sheraton Old San Juan. You'll be given a piece of paper from the rank supervisor with the price.
