Using Gift Cards on S&S

Verizon finally has carnival gift cards available again but is only option to have cards mailed to you? Sailing soon and worried I won't get them before we leave...anyway to purchase on line and have cards sent to email?

Anyone have experience with this scenario? Sailing next month, paid for an excursion online at Carnival.com with a gift card. Just cancelled the excursion. Will I get the credit back on the original gift card I made the purchase with or will I receive an Email with the excursion refund on an E-card? I'm sure this will all work out but just curious.

Just a follow up. I did get an email from Carnival telling me that the purchase price will be credited to the credit card.....

 

A refund for those tickets to the credit card ending in has been processed. Please allow 5-7 business days for this refund to be posted to your account.
