Dorset Cruiser Posted May 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2016 Is a jacket is required every night for MDR dining on Queen Victoria? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Host Hattie Posted May 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2016 (edited) It depends when and where you are cruising. This summer embarkation days on fly cruises seem to be shown as informal jacket optional. The normal informal code is jacket required, tie optional. The dress code is not just for MDR dining, it applies to most areas of the ship. Edited May 15, 2016 by Host Hattie
Lakesregion Posted May 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 15, 2016 Here is the best way to plan. Bring a jacket, bring a tie, bring a dress shirt or two or three, bring a tuxedo and you will be fine. If you can't fit it all into your luggage, wear the blazer and the dress shirt and the tie on the plane. Cunard is the dressiest line on the high sea and the vast majority of passengers would like to keep it that way. Dress to the top of the dress code or above and everyone from the crew to the rest of the passengers will appreciate your effort in keeping Cunard Cunard.
