Anyone been on the Valor lately? Wanted to know how the casino is. Is it smokey? Any good slots? Any newer ones? Thanks for any info. Look forward to cruising on the Valor next month.

As with all areas where smoking is allowed (casino area plus casino bar), it is smoke-filled.

Sorry, don't play slots

I just got off the Valor yesterday. The smoke in the casino was the worst of any ship I have been on. I typically cruise Royal Caribbean and although the casino is smokey, they do have non-smoking tables and slots. I was recently was on the Oasis and got spoiled because they had two completely separate sides of the casino with one being non-smoking. It was separated by the bar, so there was still smoke, but it wasn't being blown directly in your face. I still had fun on the Valor but there was no getting away from the smoke.

There did seem to be newer slots, I only play Wheel of Fortune and was disappointed in their machines. They were all video machines and I only found one that had the $3 per line (although it had 4 games to play so to get the "max play" for the jackpot you had to play $12). The others required a $5 play to get the spins.

Looking forward to trying the Valor, but not looking forward to the smoke. I don't know why they can't have a better ventilation system. It seems like every ship I have been on has this problem. I like playing the Quick Hit slots and also the multi game slots where you can pick up to four different games and play the four games at the same time. Hopefully they put in some new slots when they did the ship upgrade. I remember when they upgraded the Legend they added a lot of new slot machines, and then she went to Australia.

I was on the Dream last Dec. and roulette was $5 minimum but played with $2 chips. Just another was to get you to bet more. The way I see it, you had to play $6 no matter how you look at it.

And it wasn't a Premier cruise either.

Lots of bonus orb machines.quick hit on wall were most popular.

I never did anything on the orb slots. I do like the quick hit slots. Hit one on the Sunshine, for $2000, playing just $1 ($2 was max bet) I usually always bet max, but was not doing well and lowered my bet. Would have won $4000. Still happy. Glad to hear they have Quick Hit slots. Thanks.
