Memsy87 Posted May 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2016 Hi, I've not sailed with MSC before and would love some information. We are planning to take our baby daughter with us who Will be 16 months at the time of travel. Are the restaurants on board baby friendly ? Can you easily manoeuvre A buggy ? What kind of dining options are included with the cruise price and are there speciality restaurants also ? Has anyone requested a cot in an inside cabin and how did you find it ? Thanks

Thanks The ship is very baby friendly. There is a baby play zone that your daughter will love. The restaurants are baby friendly and after the first night you will not even need to request a highchair as one will already be placed at your table. With regards to food I found them extremely accommodating. We had a cot in our balcony cabin and while it was tight is was always folded away by our steward in the morning and when we arrived back at our cabin in the evening it was back up. Rare Essiesmom Posted May 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 17, 2016 You have to be careful about the cabin you book. Some of the insides are very small and it would be hard to fit in a crib. Others are quite large. The same goes for balcony cabins and OV. It's best to ask specific questions here if you can. EM

Hi, thanks so much for your reply. Can I also ask what the food is like on board ? If we just go with the standard Bella experience do we just have the Main Dining Room to choose from or are there other places included in your cruise price ? I called MSC and they said that when a cot/crib is requested you're automatically put into a slightly bigger cabin to accommodate the pax in the cabin. 😊
Rare Essiesmom Posted May 17, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 17, 2016 This is an inside quad cabin (8009) on Divina. Of course, you wouldn't be using the bunks...

For breakfast or lunch, your included options are the buffet or one of the main dining rooms. I would always take lunch/Breakkie in the MDR that is not my assigned MDR for dinner. Your other options and its something we always do before dinner is hit the wine bar and while you drink you always get a nice little tapa plate for free. In addition there are other restaurants you could try for an additional cost.
