Wyuna1 Posted May 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2016 Is there any information available regarding any upcoming refurbishing to Golden Princess in 2016 - 2017. Have read this in some recent reviews that this is happening but have been unable to find any confirmation. Maybe more info is available in your half of the world than ours down under. beg3yrs Posted May 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2016 She was in drydock in the Spring of 2015. Not due for a while.
happysnapper Posted May 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) Dry dock and refurbish in 2012 and in May 2015 dry dock and minor refurbish. So don't think she will be done again for a while. Also dry dock does not always mean a refurbish is done, could be mechanics and major clean. Edited May 20, 2016 by happysnapper

Deck plans are changing on 2/10/2017. Dry dock I suspect.

Reclassification is becoming an on-going thing on Princess ships. Without having looked myself, I would guess it will primarily be reclassification to designate the club class mini-suites.
