On the Jewel in April 2015 our choices were only Le Bistro and La Cucina.

The article referenced below gives me a lot of insight into the reasons NCL is taking away a lot of things from the guests that were formerly included or loyalty benefits.

 

They ar epaying Del Rio triple what the other lines are paying their CEO's so the money must come from our pockets, doesn't it ??????

We had two platinum certificates and ordered extra appetizers and paid the very small additional charge last week.

 

Here's the restrictions.

 

 

Glad you clarified the fact that lobster is NOT included when redeeming the platinum dinner for 2 certificate. Some posters claimed that I was wrong or misunderstood how it works. On the Gem 5/7 sailing our waitress in Le Bistro made sure to point out what was excluded from the menu before we placed our orders. If you have the dining plan, it is included.

 

We were more than satisfied with the quality, variety and the service in the included restaurants. Do not think we could do more than 2 dinners at Le Bistro anyway.
