Do you happen to know what brand of TV was in your suite? We have b2b cruises booked and want to hook up our ipad to stream Netflix. Other posts suggest bringing a universal remote and coding it with the TV brand onboard.

Actually I found when I was going through my pictures it is a Samsung!

Sorry it took me so long to come back to finish. Just had my youngest son's graduation so there was much to do.

Day 5 At Sea

We woke up this morning and my BFF went to get a manicure/pedicure. When she came back to the room we ordered breakfast and then her Mom and I headed up to the Sun Suite Deck as my BFF wanted to sleep some more as she was up early.

We got up to deck 17 and boy was it hot out! There was absolutely no breeze this day. I can't believe people were in the solarium that day, it was a green house if you know what I mean. My BFF's Mom and I went to the Windjammer for lunch and then she went back to the room for some air conditioning. Meanwhile my BFF had joined me on the Sun Suite Deck. We had met some really nice people who we enjoyed talking with. A shout out to Janice and Vicky and Ann Marie! I kept rinsing off in the outdoor shower as it was so hot! You would be dry in 5 minutes it was that hot. We sat in the shade for a while and headed back to the room about 4:30. We had dinner in Chops again that night and then headed to the casino before the Comedy Show.

We arrived early to get a good seat at the comedy show. We wr4e in the front row which was nice as you had a table for your drink. I never laughed so hard in my life. They were both great, my stomach hurt the next day I laughed so hard!

Just a side note we had reservations for the comedy show. I had to get my sea pass card replaced a day before because I lost it in the casino. Just so you know when you do that your reservation doesn't show up on your card so they had to manually look it up on a computer. They found my reservation and let me in!

We headed back to the casino and called it a night as the next day we were in Cozumel, Mexico.

We had magnets on our door to help my BFF's Mom find the room. She is 82. By day five all our magnets were gone. We couldn't believe someone would stoop that low. We left a not on the door for their return to no avail. Our room attendant felt bad and when we went back to the room there was a bottle of Moet Rose there for us! She was so thoughtful.:):)

Day 6 Cozumel Mexico

We woke up had some room service for breakfast and headed off the ship about 10:30-11:00. We walked to the Taxi Stand and took a Taxi to Paradise Beach. We had no wait at the Taxi Stand as we got off a little later than everyone else. It was very breezy this day. The taxi ride was about $14. It only costs $3 to get into Paradise Beach and you need to spend $10 on food or beverage. No problem there for us! We sat in the loungers that were actually around the rim of the pool in the water. They were fabulous. We met some nice people and enjoyed talking with them.

They come around and take your drink and food orders so you don't even need to get up, although there is a nice area for eating under a big hut. The beach was quite crowded so we stayed in the pool area that day. We stayed there till 4PM then did a little shopping before we headed back to the ship.

We ate in Giovanni's again that night and headed back to the casino. We were quite tired and headed off to bed at a decent hour. All that sun and drinking does you in!

Day 7 At Sea

I skipped breakfast this morning as I was still stuffed from the previous night. My BFF and her Mom had breakfast when I was leaving, I headed up to the Sun Suite Deck for one last day of rays! Another beautiful day with a breeze and plenty of cocktails out on the deck. I headed to the Windjammer for lunch and then walked around the ship taking some pictures before returning for some more sun. My BFF came up to the Sun Suite deck about 2 as she had fallen back to sleep. She was sad she had missed part of the day, on her last day but quickly recovered. We took a picture will all our friends we had met and the bartender before we left to get ready for dinner.

We had our last dinner at Chops and again the wait staff was fantastic. We then headed back to the casino for one last night of gambling. My BFF won $551 dollars that night and I won about $150 that night. We were up and down during the week but it ended on a positive note for us.

I had to pick up my USB drive with our pictures at 9 and there was quite a line but it moved fast. We have some great memories captured on film. I got the 10 picture digital package. It was about $179. We had packed our bags and left them outside the room before 11. I think we got back to the room about 12.

Disembarkation

We were given a time by the concierge of 8am or 9am for our Star Class debarkation. We chose the 9am and headed to the CL and were given stickers and then went to wait in the Champagne Bar. It was only about 5 minutes and the Concierge led us down to the gangway, where we were able to bypass everyone waiting in line. We did get some looks but I ignored them. We were brought to the Suite Luggage Area and grabbed a porter to help us. We were through immigration in no time and headed out to get a cab with our porter. I would say from the Champagne Bar to the Taxi took about 10 minutes.

We took a cab to my sister-in-laws in Pompano Beach where we were greeted with a Sunday Brunch! We had a couple of bottles of champagne left from the ship so we gave them to her as a gift. She brought us to the airport about 2:30 as our flight was at 5pm. No delays and we were home in 3 hours.

I will give final thoughts and share some other things I remember tomorrow.

I can't figure out how to upload pictures sorry about that. Not as techie as I thought. Oh well, plenty of people post pictures of Allure so I'm sure your not missing anything.

Thanks for following along!
