GiftieEtcetera Posted May 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2016 We leave on the Dream out of New Orleans on July 24th. We have a check-in time of 10:30. How long can we expect to wait until we actually get on the ship? Will we be on by lunch time?
Rare chasinraynbowz Posted June 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2016 They usually start boarding the wedding parties, VIPs and then FTTF around 1130.

Rare chasinraynbowz Posted June 1, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 1, 2016 If you are not platinum or have FTTF, I am sure you will be on board by noon especially if you get to the port at 1030am. If there is any change, I will let you know. I am going back on the Dream in 4 weeks!!! :D
duncmelsmom Posted June 2, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2016 So if FTTF starts boarding at 11:30?? We have a check in time from 10:30-11:00; does that no longer apply? Thanks so much-

Thanks so much- Check in time is the time you actually check in for cruise. Boarding time is when you get on ship two different things.
GiftieEtcetera Posted June 2, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted June 2, 2016 We definitely understood that we would check-in and wait to board. We just hoped we'd board by noonish. We did that Summer of 2014 in NOLA and it went really smoothly. But that was before staggered check-in. Honestly, my husband is so cheap that he insists on not missing that meal on the cruise. :)
