Even if the first group fills up, they will usually add a second night. But, yes, get your husband to get there early and call the dining line right away!

We cancelled because I had a migraine, no charges whatsoever.

 

BTW, I called the dine line for chef's table upon boarding 3 times and we were chosen each time. We do not have any special status, that is for sure:) and we usually arrive between 12 and 1 pm.

A ship was damaged in Ketchikan today. I'd think that's a bit more of an issue...

 

What does this possibly have to do with the chef's table?

It appears that I can make reservations in my name since we always get on very early & then cancel & give my spot a friend.

Assuming there are 12 people "booked", if you cancel, then your spot would go to the first person on the waiting list.
