Just booked for an Aug 28th sail... Was going to book whale watching through the ship, but with exchange rates, it's very expensive.....so my question is, who is local and good..

Something to consider..... are you only interested in a whale watch? Is this in Juneau? I recommend Mendenhall combo excursions as both are 12 miles West of Juneau. This can save valuable port time in not retracing back to the cruise dock.

For me.... maximizing port time is more valuable than saving money.
