cruisedad2 Posted June 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2016 We have never dined in Tuscan Grille. Is it worth it? What is good ? What should be avoided on Millennium in that restaurant?

jaspersmommy Posted June 9, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2016 We have never dined in Tuscan Grille. Is it worth it? What is good ? What should be avoided on Millennium in that restaurant? We ate in TG three times on our recent Millennium cruise. We enjoyed it very much. The food and the service were both excellent.
Airportlimbo Posted June 9, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2016 My steak was very good, my tuna was pretty bad (chewy and not very raw). Creme brûlée was very good. Service was the worst we had on the ship.
terigo Posted June 9, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2016 Don't know if this helps you, but we had ultimate dining on Millennium, and arranged 1st night Murano, 2nd night Tuscan, alternating between the two restaurants for the rest of the week... After the service comparison, we switched to Murano for the rest of the cruise. Example...My husband's steak was tough, and the waiter blamed the lighting, saying we couldn't tell it was rare enough. Huh? the lighting didn't affect his chewing ability! The only thing we loved at Tuscan was the ravioli. Murano was impeccable.
casper106 Posted June 9, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 9, 2016 We did the TG once and didn't like it. The food was "heavy" to me and too salty. Our fave is Murano.
Bo1953 Posted June 9, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 9, 2016 Pray tell, where on Millennium is Murano? Is there a secret password to a hidden door where it can found? Please let me know as I enjoyed it tremendously on the Solstice Class vessels! bon voyage
willma Posted June 9, 2016 #8 Share Posted June 9, 2016 There never was Murano on Millennium. It was the wonderful Olympic Restaurant. Same excellent service, and elegant surroundings. It is now Tuscan Grliie. :(
