marcyjane Posted October 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2005 Thinking about booking Royal Caribbean for May 19th out of Seattle to Alaska and just wondering how cold it will be that time of year. Also which Month is best to cruise Alaska May, June, July or August. Also how much daylight in May. Just starting to research about Alaska cruise so any help or suggestion would be wonderful. Thanks, :) Marcyjane
calmac Posted October 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2005 Not sure on temperatures but this site will give you sunrise and sunset times if you enter the date and port of call. http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/RS_OneDay.html

Budget Queen Posted October 23, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2005 Plenty of daylight, dusk around 10pm with extended twilight, early am's. You need a wide range of attire in Alaska, no matter when you go, meaning, lined lightweight jacket, knit hat, gloves, layers, rain gear, 2 pair of walking shoes. It is more dry in May on average. Most always you will have a need for the "winter layers" as well as possible shorts. Take it all.
