Denali with Regent , private tour or on our own

Considering Mariner Seward to Vancouver. Regent has 2 Denali pre tours one out of Anchorage and one out of Fairbanks . Also I'd consider a private tour on our own. Any thoughts

For us , it would depend on a couple of things. Alaska is easy to navigate on your own. So unless the pre tour with regent was included or an exceptional value, we would just rent a car and do it on our own. Of course, there is limited hotel space near Denali, so you would need to make sure you had that nailed down before deciding to do on your own. And hotels in Alaska in season tend to be pricey for what you get, so take that into account.

I suspect that there has been little response because most Regent cruisers have either done it with Regent OR on their on - not both. So, it is difficult to make a comparison. IMO, Rachel made some good points.
