Slot machines on Splendor

I'm pretty sure no slot machines take coins anymore...the ones that I've seen anyways. As far as I'm aware, the ones on the ships only take bills, and then anything left over is deposited into an account you set up on your S&S card.

No coin slot...just put in a $20 (or a $10 or $5), and play as much as you want. When you stop playing, any money left on the machine will "pay out" on a ticket...you can take the ticket to the cashier and get real money.

Really? I thought tickets were a thing of the past, but I've never sailed the Splendor. Maybe they are an exception.

To my knowledge, Carnival doesn't give tickets to redeem your winnings. Everything goes thru your Sail and Sign and when you're ready to cash out, you take it to the Cashier and you get real cash. Some of the casinos in the Islands give tickets, but not on the ships that I know of.

I second this...I'm pretty sure they don't give tickets.

Sorry but NO. Carnival does not use Ticket In Ticket Out machines (referred to as TITO). Royal does, and Celebrity does.

Carnival has you set up a players account on your sign and sail card. This is completely separate from your sign and sail account. It's basically just a holding place for your cash outs.

After playing you can either put the money into your players account and then move to another machine (either at that time or at a later time) and you can withdraw money from your players account. If you prefer to use cash at each buy in, you can go to the cashier in the casino and cash out your players account at any time.

You can also withdraw money from your sign and sail account and put it into your players account. There is no way to transfer money from your players account onto your sign and sail account. For that, you need to withdraw the cash and then head to guest services or a sign and sail kiosk to deposit the cash onto your sign and sail account.

There will be numerous reminders on that last evening to cash out your players account in the casino.

If you forget and your amount remaining is greater than $10, you'll be sent a cheque in 6 weeks.

If you forget and your amount remaining is less than $10, the money will be donated to St Judes.
