Jacksonville Hotel without a car

Hey Folks, Any suggestions as to where a small group can stay ? Not to far from the airport or the cruise port ? We won't have a car :-(

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :-)

Lots of hotels near the JAX airport with dining and shopping options nearby. From there you are about a $30 cab ride to the port if the hotel does not include a port shuttle.

 

Dates? Price range?

October 20th for 2 nights .... we don't mind paying if it is close to everything

Oct prices should be reasonable. Lots of hotels near the airport to choose from with airport shuttles - Doubletree, Holiday Inn Express, Hyatt, Springhill Suites, etc. Most of the dining options are chains - Ruby Tuesday, etc.
