MCO cruise and stay hotels for Port Canaveral sailings

Are there any hotels in Orlando where the two of us can stay one night pre-cruise that offer a shuttle (free or low cost) to Port Canaveral? We've done this FLL to POM, but don't know about MCO. Is there a better cost efficient way? Possibly a rental car EACH way. Thanks for any suggestions. fflashh.

The drive from Orlando to PC takes about an hour. Your best bet is a one way car rental. All of the car rental agencies in PC/Cocoa Beach offer free shuttles to the port.

If you would prefer to let someone else drive check with CorTrans and Cocoa Beach Shuttle. Good luck!

Many transportation companies will pick you at the airport hotels for your port transfer. As mentioned, Cortrans has a good reputation for affordable shared transfers from airport hotels if you want to save money.

Several of the MCO airport hotels offer packages with your room. Just select an hotel and ask! For example, the Hampton Inn offers a Bon Voyage Package that costs about $17 per person to the Port and back – $34 total per person!

One-way car rental is preferred by many but there is only two of you so you have to compare costs with shuttles if you are budget-minded.

Here is a map and list of rental car companies for one-way travel - http://cruiseportcanaveral.us/car-rental/

If you arrive before dark then also consider driving to a Cape Canaveral area hotel (instead of MCO hotels) to smell the ocean and start cruise-mode!

LaQuinta Orlando Airport North is a great hotel that offers a complimentary airport shuttle and hot breakfast. It is located 5 min from the airport and is surrounded by many restaurants that are within walking distance. The hotel is clean, has a nice pool and is in a park-like setting.

TravelLynx Shuttle Service is very reputable. They will pick you up at the hotel and shuttle you over to the port and then back to the airport after your cruise returns.
