We will be visiting Venice on Monday, Sept. 26 in the afternoon on our cruise on the Eurodam.

Is it advisable to purchase skip the line tickets for St. Marks and also for the Campanile? It is difficult to estimate the exact time we will be there. The ship docks at 1 pm.

Thank you.

I recommend the tickets for St Marks. They are cheap and can really cut your wait in line. I've done this a couple of times, arriving at the port at 1 and scheduling St Marks for 3. Allows enough time to walk from Piazelle Roma or take the vaporetto. You may get there early but I like having a cushion if something goes wrong. Plenty to do around the square if you arrive early. Pay the extra fee inside St Marks to go upstairs and see the real bronze horses and walk around outside on the second level. Good views of the square.

I've never pre-booked the campanile, so can't comment.
