Santiago Airport to Valparaiso

I'm sure the answer is somewhere on this forum but I've yet to find it so appreciate any help.

We are planning on flying in a day early for our cruise but want to spend the night in Valparaiso instead of Santiago.

I know the easiest and most expensive way is a taxi. I checked Gray Line and they want $252!

Any other suggestions? We'll have two large suitcases and two carry-ons.

For that mount of money you can do a wine tour and have a drop off in Valpo!!! Or a tour round Santiago then a wine taste and time in Valpo tour. Try Pablo at Chile my way. He's on CC and TripAdvisor with very good reviews.

Thanks for the feedback.

And thanks for the info on Pablo. Do you have a link? I couldn't locate the information

SouthExcursions also has a tour/transfer of both cities with a winery. 8 hours

Thank you but we are looking for a direct transfer. Used to love wineries. Now can't drink the stuff :(

There is also the local bus which leaves from downtown and is very cheap.

I have read good reviews here online. They have assigned seats and store luggage under the bus.We may try it since we are spending

a few nights in both cities.
