Haines Fast Ferry

Can anyone tell me if you could walk to the Ferry Dock from the Cruise Dock? We are thinking of taking it when our ship docks in Skagway as there are some things we would rather do in Haines.

Yes you can walk to the Haines fast ferry. The ferry leaves from the small boat basin near the Railroad pier, it’s kind of hard to find it. Here’s link to their web site http://www.hainesskagwayfastferry.com/ What ship are you going to be and when?

So...the ship schedules show Explorer of the Seas in Skagway Sep 5 2016 at RRA which is Railroad Aft; the "outer" spot on the Railroad dock. If you meant Sep 5, this is your spot. You'll have to walk past the RRF (Railroad Forward) spot which will be Radiance of the Seas, out the "gate" for cruise passengers, and then ahead on the left is the marina where you'll get the fast ferry. Can't get much easier than that, aside from the schlep past RRF. ;)
