BLAMBKY Posted July 13, 2016 #76 Share Posted July 13, 2016 That is encouraging. Of the reviews I put the most faith in, the mediocre desserts have been a common theme the past few years. Even I get tired of creme brule. I think I may have had that 2-3 times on Liberty but it was consistently good! squaw Posted July 14, 2016 #77 Share Posted July 14, 2016 Thanks for the review, it great to see what to expect. I am going on oasis for the first time With my family of 13. If I am following your review correctly, they put your first formal night on Sunday along with the Nassau stop. Do you know when they will schedule the 2nd formal day. I always thought they tried to schedule formal nights on sea days.

Queen of Oakville Posted July 14, 2016 #79 Share Posted July 14, 2016  Wow, is it just me or are there several new desserts each night?! I do not remember there being so many on the Liberty! :o I may need to order more than one to try them all out! Guess THAT is encouragement to keep working on my weight loss. :D I'm having the same problem but with the entrees! There is at least one night, I can see myself ordering 3 entrees!!! With any luck I will be too full by the time the dessert menu comes around.
stleda124 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #80 Share Posted July 17, 2016 Sorry for my disappearance. I have much respect for those who stay up with these. Was far too busy and tired to do it every day. But with that said. Day 4: St Thomas Today, we went to Turtle Cove snorkeling. We booked this one outside of the cruise line. We highly recommend this excursion! We ate here while there. Fantastic food and service. The drinks on the other hand were not tolerable. Pure alcohol! Yacht Club which is where the meet was. One thing about this excursion. There are two cruise pier locations. We were at the one where the excursion was not at. We took a cab for $7 to the correct pier about 15 minutes away. We ate at Giovanni's table this evening. The food was delicious. The wait for food was a little much. I guess they had kitchen trouble and the food took 2 hours to come out! But never the less, the food was great and the service was great. stleda124 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #82 Share Posted July 17, 2016 Day 5: St Kitts! This was by far our favorite day. Although we did not book through the cruise line we had our best excursion ever. We did the ATV's. I highly recommend this excursion! I can not recommend this excursion enough!!! Definitely the highlight. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

stleda124 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #84 Share Posted July 17, 2016 I have lost track of days now. Awful review I know! Lol But those are pictures from all the nights. The lobster night and last formal night was on Thursday (sea day) There was one bad dinner today (the churros) dinner was cold and had to be sent back. Churros which we were wicked excited about were also cold! Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
stleda124 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #85 Share Posted July 17, 2016 Everglades boat ride was okay. It was a good waste of time but I would not go again. Debating was easy. We were through the line and out the door in 15 minutes. I know the end of this review was sucky but...I am happy to answer any questions you have! We also did Quest the adult game show...hilarious defiantly recommend. We did a cash system, no issues. All good there. We did the thermal suite pass for $250 for 2 people which includes detox bath and mud bath. I would NOT recommend this at all. The thermal suite was minimal and the two extras included were a room where you were brought and told to do it yourself. Nope. stleda124 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #86 Share Posted July 17, 2016 And currently...we are at the airport. We were told the excursion would have is to airport at 2pm and we fly at 920. A long time but we figured we'd go tanning (get rid of tan lines) and then come and hangout for a couple hours. Our excursion dropped us at 1145 and our flight is delayed to 210am. So in one of the smallest and least entertaining airports, we are here for 14.5 hours. Yay! Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

Oh my, I sure hope this was an anomaly to never be repeated! Be said that the computers weren't firing tickets for food. I used to work as a waitress and this does happen, although rare. Essentially it doesn't send the food tickets to the kitchen and then once someone notices, 30-40 minutes, 1000 (exaggeration) tickets come through at once. It was slammed busy. He did give us one free person but we tipped him what he took off because he recovered well. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

ronpes Posted July 22, 2016 #94 Share Posted July 22, 2016 Great pics and review. Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post this. It is much appreciated. We are sailing on Oasis in 8 weeks’ time so this has been a great insight. May I ask how was the immigration line like at Ft Lauderdale? Ie did you have long to wait? When we last sailed through there in Feb this year, it took us the best part of 2 hours to get clear of the terminal. Getting off the ship was very well managed and the hold up was not the fault of the cruise line. Thanks again. Ron.
