Notification when the price goes down

I just posted this reply on another thread but will clip & paste it here in case you don't see it: "I subscribed to Cruise Critic's price drop emails (as well as ticking price drop notifications on a cruise app) & so far when I receive an email from either one regarding a price drop, I go to check Carnival Fare Viewer & they never apply to my category rate. I've only been doing it for about a month & have received several emails. Will probably continue just in case but so far no luck here!"

The problem is, if you buy. Highly sought after room type like a spa balcony, the price seldom sees a drop as they usually see out before that happens. So getting the room for cheaper usually isn't possible. The room has to be the exact same to get the discount. Same category, same occupancy requirements, etc. if not they won't give you the difference.
